Our Year 6 school council have been very busy organising a show to display our children's wonderful talents. There were so many fantastic acts that were performed with so much confidence to a whole school audience! The scoring was very tight, and it was a tough choice for the panel of judges, but the winners for 2023 are -

Nora and Connie in Year 4 who performed their own version of Invincible. Nora played the piano and sang whilst Connie performed a dance to the music. Parts of the lyrics had even been cleverly adapted to be about Friarswood!

Arthur in Year 5 who sang the Christmas classic Everybody’s Waiting for the Man with the Bag. He delivered it with huge maturity and a Rat Pack style, very Frank Sinatra!

Ayva-Lilly in Year 6, who sang the Meghan Trainor hit Dear Future Husband and got the whole audience clapping and dancing along like we were at a concert!

Well done to all the winners, the finalists and all the children who were brave enough to take part - everyone was a winner in our eyes. #BeYourselfAlways
