The Government is asking parents to keep children at home whenever possible – schools remain open only for children who need to attend.
KS1 Sports day

KS1 Sports day

On Monday, we had our Key Stage 1 sports day. The weather was kind and we all had a great time taking part in the races and cheering our friends on.

We had help from Bee Active who organised our races and set the children off on the count of 3! Our first race was the running race.

Followed by an obstacle course. The children did very well to balance on a log, go under two ropes and through a hoop whilst running!

We then had our egg and spoon race, only if you close enough, our eggs look rather like potatoes!

The sack race is always fun! All of the children bounced well with only a few falls, smiles all around.

And on to the shuttle race, the children had to run to collect all of the bean bags before running to the race line. This year the children were very fast!

Finally for our children, it was time for a team race. The children had to work together in their house team to collect the most water. It was a very close race!

The children were amazing throughout the afternoon and really enjoyed taking part in the races.

We also had time for a toddler race and of course the mum’s and dad’s race! Thank you to everyone who took part, we hope you had fun too.

A fantastic afternoon! Well done Key Stage 1
