On Monday, Paul and Wendy from DHL came to our school with a huge articulated lorry. Each class went outside to visit and learn about the dangers of being near such a big vehicle. The children were so shocked that when the engine was on, and they all shouted as loudly as possible, the driver could not hear anything! The children also learnt about blind spots and they were surprised at how many there are and how far away you need to be seen. There was a lot to learn and the children all showed a good understanding of being safe near such a large and dangerous vehicle.
